Re: Transactions Thread
Make sure you guys update your team thread when you make a trade or signing. What I am looking for is their contract length. And put the Cap Space somewhere on your page too. You are responsible for updating your cap space and contracts. For example, NE has 10 cap space and signed Ty Law with 4 points. 10-4=6 and had to release a player taking a cap hit of 1, so 6-1=5. You take the players value minus their signing bonus. So you'd all have to look that up yourselves. I will be watching over your rosters to make sure you are doing it right.
I will also go approve the trades shortly.
Miami signs Derrick Brooks to a 2 year deal worth 4 points and releases DE Lionel Dotson.
0-1=-1-4=-5. 15-5=10 Cap Space remaining.

Re: Transactions Thread
im interested in getting players with potential rather than draft picks.
also ive added kurt warner and chris wells to the trading block as a combo only.
looking to downgrade at qb and upgrade at halfback. trade is great for someone who has great potential at backup with warner only having at most 2 years so if you want to win now hes your guy. im building for the future with evidence of my recent boldin trade.

Re: Transactions Thread
Blockbuster deal reached between the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals. Cardinals trade WR Anquan Boldin and CB Wilrey Fontenot to the Miami Dolphins for WR Tedd Ginn Jr and CB Sean Smith.
Miami takes on the contract of Boldin (2011) and Wilrey Fontenot (2013).
Arizona takes on the contract of Tedd Ginn Jr (2012) and Sean Smith (2013).

Re: Transactions Thread
I made a new rule on trade adjustments, so please read. For the people that have made trades, this does apply to you. So please calculate it.
For my most recent trade, Ginn (4 points) + Smith (5 points) and Boldin (10 points) + Fontenot (1 point)= 9-11=-2. So Miami loses 2 points in Cap space, and Arizona gains 2 points. This seems marginal, but you also have to keep in mind when taking on better players' contracts it will cost more to resign them. I believe this is necessary, because when/if these players are let go that team will receive those points right back. So make sure to take this into account for any past or future trades. Remember, simply take the point value of each player on one team and take the difference in the players you are receiving to get your cap space readjustment number.

You won the bid to Marvin Harrison. You can sign him at any time. Be sure to update your team page. You would sign him to a 3 year deal.
